Ecco finalmente il post che avrei dovuto fare tempo fa. Come dissi allora, la Pasquetta tipica dei franciacortini "del nord", si svolge solitamente sulle colline di Iseo, ambientazione ideale di picnic, accampamenti improvvisati, grigliate e partite a carte.. Noi questa tradizione la portiamo avanti e la seguiamo religiosamente, spesse volte anche nonostante il tempo non proprio dalla nostra parte.Quest'anno, però, abbiamo dovuto abbandonare causa pioggia intensa durata circa un mese consecutivo (forse anche qualcosa in più) e strada completamente impraticabile. Abbiamo però provveduto a recuperare, col primo sabato veramente primaverile. Le fotografie non rendono giustizia, ve lo garantisco..Se venite in Franciacorta, non potete non salire quassù..si farà un pò fatica, lo ammetto, ma ogni gocciolina di sudore verrà ripagata con uno spettacolo che vi lascerà senza fiato..

Come raggiungere il punto panoramico: dal centro di  Provaglio d'Iseo si seguono le indicazioni per la chiesetta Madonna del Corno, per chi vuole c'è la possibilità di saltare un pezzo di camminata parcheggiando al Pian delle Viti per poi proseguire a piedi verso la chiesa. Una volta giunti li, si prosegue fino alla Croce. Da qui si scende dal lato di Iseo fino a raggiungere la Balota Del Coren (punto da cui ho fatto le fotografie) e dopo pochi metri si giunge alla cima del Monte Cognolo.

As I said , the typical Easter Monday of northern Franciacorta people, is usually held in the hills of Iseo, ideal setting for picnics, makeshift camps, barbecues and card games .. We carry this tradition forward and follow it religiously, often even despite the weather doesn't gives us a hand. This year, however, we had to abandon due to heavy rain lasted about a month in a row (maybe even more) and road completely impractical. However, we have taken steps to recover, with the first really spring Saturday . The photos do not do justice, I guarantee .. If you come in Franciacorta, you can not come up here .. you will make a little effort, I admit, but every drop of sweat will be rewarded with a show that will leave you breathless ..
How to reach the panoramic point: from the center of Provaglio d'Iseo, follow the signs for the church Madonna del Corno, there is a chance for those who want to skip a piece of walking to the parking Pian delle Viti then walk towards the church. Once you get there, you go to the cross. From here, go down the side of Iseo until you reach the Balota Del Coren (the point from which I took photographs), and after a few meters to the summit of Mount Cognolo.
